Overview Associate Director, Marketing at SERB Pharmaceuticals. This role will develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics for pharmaceutical products in the Rare Emergency Medicine portfolio. The individual will lead projects, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes on strategy and on deadline. This role can be based in Philadelphia or Boston and reports to the Rare Emergency Medicine Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities Develop and execute a data-driven brand strategy that drives brand growth and is aligned to overall brand objectives Manage and lead personal promotion and non-personal promotion marketing tactics aligned with brand strategy and business objectives Create a hyper-targeted non-personal promotion strategy within rare disease brands to optimize spend, trigger behavior change, and ladder up to brand strategy Partner cross-functionally to create and elevate insights-driven growth opportunities Manage Creative Agency relationships to deploy promotional tactics Incorporate feedback and insights to evolve brand strategy and tactics Collaborate with Medical, Legal and Regulatory to implement integrated medical/marketing platforms and initiatives Integrate competitive analysis to enhance brand positioning and identify growth in complex markets Collaborate with other functions to develop memorable, accurate, and differentiated brand messaging Execute on value proposition, including pricing and reimbursement strategies Lead brand budget planning and support annual budget planning for promotional projects Collaborate with appropriate functions on budgeting, reimbursement, trade and meeting materials Apply project management principles to deploy commercial projects, establish best processes, and support Promotional Review Committee processes and ad hoc initiatives Coordinate communications and rollout of tactics with the Sales team and field personnel Speakers’ Bureau Management – manage external vendors, agreements, compliance, and relationships with Key Opinion Leaders Manage contractors and vendor relationships to ensure efficient promotional programs Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regulating commercial activities; uphold high ethical and professional standards The above duties are not exhaustive and duties may be added or changed in response to business needs. Qualifications Bachelors Degree required; MBA preferred 7+ years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical or biotech, including at least 3 years in marketing with 2 years in U.S. market Success in building brand strategies across the product lifecycle Track record in creating both personal and non-personal promotion tactics Launch experience or proven ability to accelerate early adoption Experience in hospital selling environment, rare disease, or related areas Strong history of growing brand revenues and profitability Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders Analytical mindset with KPI focus and data-driven decision making Ability to manage complex marketing scenarios and drive commercial growth Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; cross-functional collaboration Knowledge of market research methodologies and commercial data sources Understanding of clinical and regulatory concepts; familiarity with federal regulations governing commercial activities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Veeva CRM; experience with Veeva Vault for submissions Self-motivated, proactive, able to manage projects with minimal oversight Strong planning, organizational, and independent decision-making abilities Willingness to travel for conferences, field sessions, and other meetings as needed Location Philadelphia or Boston Compensation & Benefits Vacation, personal and sick time; holidays Medical, dental, vision and other voluntary benefits Discretionary bonus plan Competitive 401(k) with employer matching; discretionary match up to 4% with vesting schedule Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
