95-K + Bonus + Paid Relocation We are in search of an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to become a part of our Documentation team, with a focus on Over-the-Counter (OTC) Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precise and timely processing and upkeep of all relevant documentation, following departmental protocols diligently. Key Responsibilities
As an ISDA Rates Documentation AVP, your main responsibilities will include: Drafting & Reviewing Confirmations: Creating and reviewing ISDA paper confirmations for Interest Rate products.
Processing Electronic Confirmations: Handling and reviewing electronic confirmations through Markitwire for Interest Rate products and TradeServ for Credit Derivatives.
Ensuring Compliance: Validating that all documentation complies with ISDA standards and industry best practices.
Resolving Issues: Working together with counterparties, Front Office, and Legal to address any confirmation discrepancies.
Tracking & Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of pending confirmations and presenting findings to management.
Addressing Inquiries: Responding promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Understanding and effectively interacting with other units as necessary.
Providing Support & Assisting with Projects: Helping the team with various requests and tasks related to projects.
Participating in System Enhancements: Engaging in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, database conversions, and new system introductions.
Contributing to Team Development: Offering training to fellow team members as needed. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience: 5-7 years of Interest Rate Documentation experience within a banking or investment banking setting.
ISDA Expertise: Proficiency with ISDA Interest Rate Derivatives Definitions is a must.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
