Position Details KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering within our Enterprise Security Services. This is a remote work opportunity. Responsibilities Develop and manage security strategies for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), aligning security architecture with firm goals and addressing emerging threats. Support security operations and incident response, leveraging expertise in GCP for activities like threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation. Oversee integration of GCP and Workbench security tools, automations, and processes to unify security monitoring and response systems. Stay updated with cybersecurity practices, mentor team members, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to foster security excellence. Drive automation and orchestration efforts to enhance security monitoring and response, documenting processes in playbooks and guides. Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and vendors to ensure strategic alignment and standardization. Qualifications At least 8 years of recent experience in security architecture, with a focus on GCP and security tooling integration. Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as CISSP and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are advantageous. Proven leadership in managing security projects and resources, with knowledge of regulatory standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills; capable of influencing without authority. Ability to develop high-performance teams and influence organizational priorities.
