DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role :
A dynamic and experienced leader to oversee the Platform engineering and support of Data Integration, Data Governance, and Data Observability platforms. This role incorporates leading a team of platform engineers and collaborate closely with business and IT partners to align platform capabilities with enterprise needs with strategic roadmaps
Your Primary Responsibilities : Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade Data Integration, Governance, and Observability platforms.
Manage platform administration and engineering solutions for both project and operational requirements.
Partner with application development teams to understand integration needs and facilitate seamless onboarding.
Coordinate with IT architecture and infrastructure teams to provision and maintain platform environments.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices.
Oversee capacity planning and platform sizing aligned with the book of work.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues for applications deployed on data platforms.
Drive automation strategies and deployment processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Provide expert-level support and system engineering for all supported platforms.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Conduct regular system audits and security reviews, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Prepare and validate security baseline documentation.
Engage with external vendors for support, architecture reviews, licensing, and issue resolution.
Offer architectural guidance and best practices to application teams to enhance platform stability and quality.
Identify and mitigate risks by adhering to established procedures and controls.
Recommend improvements to enhance platform stability, security, scalability, and efficiency.
Participate in major incident management (MIM) and root cause analysis (RCA) processes.
Utilize scripting and automation to implement health checks and alerting mechanisms.
Mentor team members and support their professional development plans.
Recruit and retain top talent for both permanent and contingent roles.
Address performance management and team development needs.
Manage on-call and disaster recovery coverage schedules.
Monitor team performance against service level agreements (SLAs) for incidents, requests, problems, and changes.
Demonstrate leadership aligned with corporate values and objectives.

Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of related experience in building and administering large scale, complex distributed Data platforms
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success: Strong hands-on expertise on Tools like Talend, AWS Glue, Collibra and Data observability Monte Carlo
Demonstrated ability in people management leading a team of high performing engineers with proven hands-on staff performance management and mentoring
Experience working in a global setting with distributed teams
Excellent communication skills and knowledge of common communication tools is a must
Hands-on experience in problem and risk management related to delivery, resources, and dependencies
Solid understanding of Agile methodology, JIRA, and CI/CD pipeline
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
