KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Center of Excellence - Human Capital to join our CFO organization.
Responsibilities:
Support the Human Capital, FP&A CoE Lead in the strategic thinking and implementation of the CoE which includes the execution of agreed-upon financial and operational analytical, reporting and planning activities related to the Human Capital dimension on a cross-functional or firmwide basis; ensure the output of high-quality deliverables that are professional, insightful, and accurate, performing a thorough review of deliverables prior to distribution without requiring much oversight from CoE Lead
Lead key initiatives within the Human Capital COE, including but not limited to capacity analytics, systematized headcount and FTE roll-forward to support driver-based planning and forecasting, analysis of deliver model impacts under the leverage model, and compensation-related insights
Drive continuous improvement and innovation by leveraging automation, advanced analytics, and driver-based forecasting techniques
Apply a strategic perspective when providing guidance into business performance, trends, and scenario analysis on a historical and forward looking basis; articulate findings and analytics to internal stakeholders which includes applying data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, "signals" and other driver based metrics and predictive analytics that turn data into deep insights that proactively guide decision making and management actions to sustain and improve business performance
Work with the entire CoE team in support of the CoE lead to help manage specific projects and deliverables identified as priorities for the COE including current state analysis, future state process design, gap analysis, technology implementation, status and issue reporting, and more
Build relationships across the firm to help drive the transformation agenda for the COE on an ongoing basis in a positive and collaborative manner; work across teams by incubating, sharing, and evaluating best practices to optimize Human Capital analytical processes and deliverables
Qualifications:
Minimum seven years of recent progressively responsible experience supporting financial planning and analysis activities for a KPMG business unit or corporate entity.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting from an accredited college or university preferred.
Proven experience developing complex data models and analytical tools with proficiency in SAP, Power BI, Alteryx, and GenAI; ability to translate various data sets into timely, accurate, and actionable business insights.
Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain productive relationships, break down silos, and effectively work in global and virtual teams; skilled at bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals.
Excellent interpersonal acumen and executive presence, including strong written, verbal, and data visualization skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools, with exceptional critical thinking skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems systematically; strong digital acumen or willingness to learn financial reporting technologies and process automation.
