Job Summary:
The Associate Director, Business Operations is responsible for monitoring and administering complex Cash Management waterfalls within the servicing system, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process. Responsibilities include facilitation of intake duties, implementation of Cash Management in various scenarios, and monitoring of relevant controls. The role requires conducting quality assurance reviews of commercial loans to verify adherence to processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and monitor ledger-entry reconciliations for complex Cash Management waterfalls
Receive, interpret, and apply money movement direction from Lenders and Servicers
Conduct quality assurance review of wiring instructions and authorization documents prior to disbursement submission
Setup new Cash Management records within the operating system and ensure Borrower cooperation with deposit activity is in compliance with loan documents
Correspond with Borrowers, Lenders, and internal servicing partners to ensure compliance with Cash Management Implementation
Collaborate with management in the enhancement of work procedures, policies and methods to ensure an environment of risk mitigation
Actively participate with the testing, monitoring, and enhancement of controls relevant to the administration to Cash Management Accounts
Required Qualifications: BS/BA degree in any field
5+ Years of relevant experience within Commercial Real Estate
Demonstrated success in achieving results in a dynamic setting.
Handling workloads of varying complexity and project-driven tasks
Demonstrated success with cash disbursements and wire transactions
Extensive experience with ledger-entry accounting, general ledgers, and complex reconciliations
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational and administrative skills.
Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
