General Description:
Project/program management for clinical biomarker and translational science projects or programs
Portfolio management within global translational discovery, research and medicine team framework
Essential Functions of the job:
Manage the development and implementation of clinical biomarker and translational science strategies together with program team to support the global clinical development for both early and late development stage assets
Align global/regional clinical biomarker and translational science plan development, cross-functional collaboration, and related execution through the global clinical development framework
Provide strategic and operational guidance, financial stewardship, and milestone tracking of related clinical biomarker and/or translational science activities and projects
Develop, track, and manage the progress of the global clinical biomarker and translational science projects or activities to defined timelines, assure alignment with global clinical development timelines as applicable
Identify project/program risks with team, develop mitigations and drive for resolution of project or program issues
Lead planning and tracking efforts related to internal global/regional project or program team meetings, drive strategic team decision-making and delivery of team goals and objectives.
Support collaboration with internal teams on the planning, tracking, and execution of deliverables related to scientific expert input and related activities
Serve as liaison with leaders of cross-functional stakeholders within global translational discovery, research and medicine team, lead the establishment and harmonization of clinical biomarker and translational science related processes, identify needs for process improvements, and lead change management initiatives

Other Qualifications:
PhD. in biology
Extensive (4+ years) project or program experience in preclinical drug discovery and clinical biomarker, leading large complex multi-stakeholder projects
Strong understanding of the global drug discovery and development, clinical biomarker and translational science strategy development, with ability to lead program management processes
Demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple cross-cultural stakeholder groups with an ability to effectively communicate and partner at all levels
Works with independence to effectively lead global, cross-functional matrixed teams.
Proven ability for innovation, non-traditional and strategic thinking, proven ability to challenge the status quo and drive change in an organization
Strong organizational, analytical, planning, and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively manage conflicts and negotiations, and influence outcomes without direct authority
Fluent in English and Mandarin preferred.
Full-time position based in BeOne San Carlos, CA office preferred
Travel: Occasionally
