As an Associate Clinical Director, you will play a crucial role in leading primary care providers (PCPs) within your center, ensuring top-notch quality of care and patient satisfaction. This position involves both clinical responsibilities and leadership duties aimed at fostering a synergistic clinical-operations culture. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of health issues, particularly in older adults. Take full responsibility for patient care outcomes, collaborating with specialists as needed to ensure the best patient experience. Engage actively with the hospitalist team whenever your patients are hospitalized, maintaining oversight of their care. Lead a dedicated care team, including medical assistants and care coordinators, to optimize patient outcomes. Support patients who are unable to visit the center by liaising with transitional care teams and other resources. Facilitate weekly leadership meetings to enhance team performance and patient outcomes. Play a key role in managing your center, including recruiting patients and interviewing potential providers. Mentor and guide PCPs to improve clinical results through collaborative practices. Work with center and market leaders to drive financial performance and increase membership. Perform additional tasks as needed based on managerial discretion. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty is essential. Active medical licensure in your state is required. A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in geriatric or family practice settings. Board certification in your specialty is preferred; board eligibility is required. You must maintain a current DEA number for prescribing controlled substances. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
