As the Associate Clinical Director, you will play a vital role in supervising, managing, and training our Clinical Directors within your assigned market. You will be accountable for achieving center performance objectives, overseeing P&L, driving growth, and fostering a thriving culture. You will dedicate part of your time to direct patient care as a Primary Care Physician (PCP), while the remaining time will focus on leadership responsibilities, performance management, and building synergies between clinical and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct oversight and accountability for clinical outcomes and manage Medical Directors across multiple centers. Ensure successful clinical operations and aim to exceed market earnings objectives. Mentor and coach Medical Directors to deliver superior clinical outcomes. Oversee talent development for PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors, promoting growth and performance management. Cultivate a physician culture aligned with ChenMed's core values, model, and service standards. Assist in recruiting efforts, helping to build a team of exceptional practitioners. Develop strong relationships and partnerships within the community, including payers and specialists. Monitor market culture and promptly address workplace concerns. Engage in performance improvement initiatives and conduct monthly scorecard reviews. Actively deliver outstanding clinical outcomes and service to your patient panel as a PCP. Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, with a preference for 3 years. Preferred leadership experience as a Medical Director or equivalent in a Medicare or Medicaid context. Current, active medical license in your state. A proven track record of clinical leadership and outcomes. Experience with population risk management or complex chronic disease care management.
