Assistant Security Operations Director

In this pivotal position, you will lead a dedicated team of Security Officers and Leads, ensuring that exceptional service, compliance, and safety are maintained throughout the property. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Shift: Friday-Tuesday 1pm-9pm (Sunday is 10am-6pm)
Salary: $53,040 yearly
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers, ensuring the proper execution of post orders and patrol duties.
Conduct regular inspections of posts and personnel, providing coaching and discipline as necessary.
Offer on-site training and onboarding for new officers, ensuring that all personnel comprehend their duties and expectations.
Coordinate schedules to maintain adequate staffing coverage across all shifts.
Submit payroll and personnel data promptly and accurately.
Monitor surveillance systems, respond to incidents and emergencies, and communicate effectively with local authorities and management.
Maintain a high visibility and foster a strong security presence to deter criminal activity.
Meet regularly with client representatives to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Complete and review incident reports, logs, and operational updates.
Serve as a liaison between the client, Securitas branch leadership, and security staff.
Perform security officer duties if necessary to support team coverage.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience in security operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent organizational and reporting capabilities.
Familiarity with video surveillance and access control systems.
Valid Driver's License and ability to meet company driving standards.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and report writing.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
