The Department of Public Works has an opening for the position of Assistant Public Works & Utilities Director.
The position directs, manages, supervises and coordinates assigned programs and activities within the Public Works & Utilities Department including all City infrastructure maintenance activities, fleet management, utility operations, traffic, engineering, and capital improvements; coordinates assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Public Works & Utilities Director.
Requirements: Possess and maintain a valid drivers license Bachelors degree in engineering, public administration Business administration or related field from an accredited college or university Plus a minimum of five years experience in similar or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Salary range: $100,244 to $144,700 annually plus excellent benefits.
