As an Assistant Director of Nursing in our Transplant Center, you will provide leadership in multiple areas while helping direct clinical operations. In addition, you will ensure all communication lines are open among staff for proper patient care in our inpatient and ambulatory areas. An Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for understanding complex hospital systems. A caregiver in this position works from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.A caregiver who excels in this role will: Supervises nurse managers, educators, clinical specialists, and staff of the inpatient and ambulatory care units.Works in collaboration with the Nursing Director regarding budget review, personnel management, monitoring productivity, and staff development.Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to nursing staff.Ensures communication, cooperation and understanding among staff and monitors adherence to Cleveland Clinic policies and procedures.Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and Joint Commission requirements.Other duties as assigned.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse (RN).Four years of recent clinical experienceOne year of health care management experiencePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master's Degree preferredOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
