Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Assistant Food Service Director – Greene Meadows Nursing Home
Responsibilities Include:
Timely preparation and service of meals
In assisting the Food Service Director, you may be asked to assist in Scheduling, Budgeting, Ordering & Inventory (& other tasks as needed)
Handle food by safety standards
Follow all sanitation standards
Consistently utilize standardized recipes and portion control.
Responsible for the supervision of the kitchen when in the absence of a supervisor/director
Prepare meals in accordance with dietary and consistency requirements
Assist with special functions
Maintain and assure cleanliness and safe operation of equipment in all work areas
Maintain logs for refrigerators/freezers and food temperatures.
Be a role model for staff to follow and maintain a positive work environment
Be cost-efficient and productive.
CLEAN, SAFE & SANITARY
Promote and follow facility policies, rules, and regulations.
Required qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old or older
Ability to supervise and lead others
Previous experience in the food service industry
·     Shift: 11:30 am - 7:30 pm
*Requires every other weekend availability.
