At the Clayton Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance, we connect academic disciplines related to law, policy, business and agriculture to prepare students for leadership roles in international trade and finance, support interdisciplinary research and increase public understanding of these issues. The Yeutter Institute is a community focused on understanding and adapting to our global world.
Position Overview: The Assistant Director will develop and implement plans and programs to advance the Yeutter Institute’s integrated education, public engagement, and research missions. The Assistant Director will play a key role in maintaining institute programs and helping realize the institute’s potential for growth, and will be an important contributor to the institute’s ongoing strategic planning discussions. Key Responsibilities:
Leads and organizes new initiatives with the Yeutter Institute director, faculty chairs, and strategic stakeholders.
Conducts independent research on international trade and finance and related areas in support of institute programs and research projects.
Develops and implements experiential learning opportunities for students, managing programs, administering awards and developing potential study abroad opportunities.
Advises students on the international trade minor.
Assists the Yeutter Institute director with programming, strategy development, and project management support.
Within the UNL system, this position is categorized as a Program Manager.
