We are currently in search of an Assistant Director of Online Education for an International Medical Association. This position is hybrid , based in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time, permanent position.

SALARY RANGE: $105,000 - $110,000
Is This Your Dream Job? The Assistant Director of Online Education will report directly to the Executive Director of Education to develop and execute strategies to support the Education Department. This position will play a key role in contributing to the creation and implementation of online education activities.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a medical association of similar size (45,000 members) required
· Experience in creating recorded content for LMS systems required
Ability to delegate tasks and prioritize a high volume of responsibilities required
Experience managing multiple direct reports required
Experience in creating SOPs and ability to grow a department required
Proven ability to collaborate cross-departmentally and with external contacts required
Ability to manage the department’s budget/financial analysis required
Bachelor’s degree required
How You Will Spend Your Day:
Establish workflow priorities, provide direction to the Education Production staff.
Manage online education activities by developing and implementing workflow plans, monitoring risks and mitigation strategies, maintaining the Master Inventory and LMS SOP documentation, and collaborating with IT to manage online content data and reporting.
Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to enhance strategic design and delivery of online programs.
Lead the development of new online courses and education products.
Develop and maintain the strategy for the online education portfolio across multiple platforms.
Manage the learning management system roadmap and serve as the primary liaison with vendors.
Provide staff support to education-related committees and subject matter expert groups as assigned.
Assist in developing budgets to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic education goals.
Collaborate with the Director of Education to grow the organization’s online education content in line with the strategic plan.
Coordinate with the Marketing Department to implement promotional activities for the online portfolio.
Supervise and provide leadership to team members.
