Assistant Director of Nursing

Located near Pennington, NJ A beautiful privately owned skilled nursing facility located near Pennington, NJ is looking for a strong Assistant Director of Nursing. Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing and covering when the Director of Nursing is not in the facility. Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports the delivery of high-quality resident care. Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally. Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly Participating in facility surveys Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families

Qualifications: Must have New Jersey RN License Must have prior experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a nursing home/ long-term care setting Must have excellent leadership skills Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
