Responsibilities
Assist in directing services, workflow and resources for assigned long-term care nursing area.
Assist in developing, organizing and implementing clinical services and programs.
Communicate policies, expected outcomes, work routines, and work procedures to clinical staff
Assist with implementation and evaluation of quality of care including ongoing auditing of quality indicators.
Assist in monitoring nursing budgets.
Assist with admissions, discharges and transfer to ensure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations.
Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Work Experience: 5 years of experience required, 10 years of experience preferred, 2 years of leadership or management experience required, 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
