About the Role We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) . This is a key role that supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care across our facility.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the DON in managing daily clinical operations

Supervise nursing staff and promote consistent, high-quality care delivery

Support staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Participate in care planning, audits, and regulatory compliance

Lead staff development and in-service education

Serve as a role model and mentor to nursing staff

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of New Jersey

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong knowledge of infection control and regulatory standards

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Passion for mentoring and team development
