Position Summary: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality by providing personal care services, assistance, support, evaluation, and supervision to residents as needed. Flexibility is essential in this role, including on-call responsibilities and occasional weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties:
Work with a team to update service plans for residents.
Assume responsibilities in absence of the Director of Nursing.
Coordinate services to meet the health needs of the residents and promote wellness.
Perform pre-admission assessments of potential new residents.
Establish and maintain resident records according to State and Federal guidelines.
With the support of DON, assume on-call responsibilities and address medical emergencies as they arise.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene and mobility.
Assist residents with oxygen, ostomies, and other medical problems as outlined in the assistance plan.
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
Nursing license in the state (RN preferred; may consider LPN based upon leadership structure)
CPR certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Basic computer skills
Excellent assessment, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize with good attention to detail
Interest and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous memory care experience preferred
Previous experience in senior living
