Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing:
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
Coordinate patient care plans and ensure they are carried out.
Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and communicate with patients and families.
Prepare and present reports on nursing department activities.
Requirements of the Assistant Director of Nursing:
Must have current New York State RN License
Must have prior experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing
Must have long-term care experience
Must have excellent leadership skills
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
