Flexibility is essential in this role, including on-call responsibilities and occasional weekends and holidays. Perform pre-admission assessments of potential new residents.Establish and maintain resident records according to State and Federal guidelines. With the support of DON, assume on-call responsibilities and address medical emergencies as they arise.Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene and mobility.Assist residents with oxygen, ostomies, and other medical problems as outlined in the assistance plan.Other duties as assigned Education, Experience, and Other RequirementsNursing license in the state (RN preferred; may consider LPN based upon leadership structure)CPR certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredBasic computer skillsExcellent assessment, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritize with good attention to detailInterest and ability to work within a multidisciplinary teamPromote teamwork in providing services to residents.State and Federal Guidelines for Assisted Living and DementiaHIPAA requirementsSafe food handling proceduresAbility to travel occasionally for meetingsOSHA-MSDS sheets and proceduresFlexible schedulingPreferred QualificationsPrevious memory care experience preferredPrevious experience in senior living
