Assistant Director of Nursing (RN/LPN) Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Urbandale, IA Full-Time Position
Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join us as an Assistant Director of Nursing at our skilled nursing facility in Urbandale, Iowa.
Responsibilities include:
Plan, organize, and direct the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services Department
Conduct interviews and screenings for potential resident admissions
Review nurses’ notes to ensure accurate and complete documentation of treatments, medications, and resident conditions
Make daily rounds to observe the quality of care provided to residents
Collaborate with physicians and interact with residents as needed
Assist the MDS Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including the implementation of RAPs and triggers
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing leadership within a long-term care setting (ADON or DON experience preferred)
Experience with the geriatric population is a plus
