Position: Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Location: River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation, Evansville, IN About Us River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation is a premier skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is a full-time, MondayFriday role , with the expectation to serve as a backup floor nurse as needed . Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the operations of the Nursing Services Department.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff, and monitoring results.
Foster a positive work environment by supporting patients, families, and staff.
Serve as a resource to patients and the healthcare team by addressing questions and requests promptly.
Communicate significant changes in residents' conditions to the physician, family, or responsible party.
Step in as a floor nurse when necessary to support the team and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of one year of nurse leadership experience in a long-term care setting (e.g., ADON or DON).
