RAM Recruiting - The Pavilion at Canal Fulton is seeking an ADON/ MDS Coordinator. This dual-role position offers a perfect balance of hands-on clinical leadership and mastery of reimbursement systems, for an RN ready to support and shape both patient care operations and MDS compliance.
Primary Responsibilities Clinical & Leadership (ADON)
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations, clinical staffing, and care standards
Mentor nursing staff and support quality improvement and survey preparedness
Conduct rounding, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and reinforce clinical workflows
Regulatory & Reimbursement (MDS Coordinator)
Manage all Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments 3.0, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Coordinate care planning, coding, and quality measures to support PDPM reimbursement
Train staff on documentation best practices and regulatory updates
Lead efforts in MDS audits and compliance readiness for CMS and state surveys
Required Qualifications
Current RN license in Ohio
Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership and/or MDS coordination experience in SNF settings
Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, care planning, and PDPM reimbursement
Skilled in regulatory understanding, documentation accuracy, and survey preparedness
Strong leadership communication and team-building skills
