Assistant Director of Employee Experience and Success

Job Purpose
The assistant director of employee experience and success supports the director in developing and managing strategic employee-focused initiatives. This role collaborates with the director of employee experience and success in managing processes and programs that span the employee life cycle from onboarding and offboarding, employee recognition, employee performance, employee tuition assistance program (ETAP), employee relations, employee engagement, employee training and development, and the employee assistance program (EAP). Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree and related experience. Advanced degree preferred. Relevant experience in an educational environment preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be a strategic thinker who can execute and manage projects across departments and divisions. Experience leveraging metrics and data to inform initiatives.
Ability to design, implement and evaluate employee focused programs. Strong analytical, interpersonal and excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must maintain confidentiality and possess strong judgment. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Must have the ability to develop and present training and development programs for large and small groups and on a wide range of topics, both in-person and virtually. Must possess strong presentation skills.
Strong knowledge, skill and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Absorb LMS and Articulate Storyline a plus. Prefer experience with Canva. Additional Comments Regarding Position May be asked to occasionally travel off-site, overnight or to make presentations/facilitate retreats in a wide range of venues. Attendance at a variety of professional seminars, workshops and conferences may require overnight travel. Special Instructions to Applicants Cover letter required.
