About This Role:
K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for Assistant Director of Development/K-Club Director. An example of job duties includes but are not limited to: Manage large portfolio of major gift and annual fund prospects with the expectation to make 200+ personal visits annually Identify, manage, cultivate and solicit new and current prospects for major gifts and annual leadership gifts fo the Ahearn Fund and K-State Athletics. Frequent travel within the state of Kansas and bordering states to cultivate and solicit gifts Lead and oversee K-State Athletics K-Club, which is the letterwinner program within the K-State Athletics Department Work some home and away games K-State Athletic sporting events and donor events Other duties as assigned Why Join Us: K-State Athletics, Inc. is a proud member of the Big 12 Conference. What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree One year of working in college athletics or similar athletic profession Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to promote and demonstrate respect, collaboration and friendly customer service in all working relationships and situations Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in college athletics Experience working with and managing a portfolio of donors or clients Experience fundraising in NCAA Division I athletics Former student-athlete Other Requirements: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required Must be able to travel as required Must have a valid driver's license at all times This position holds expectations of compliance with all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, Inc. rules and regulations.
