Make a meaningful impact through leadership! The Carpenter Health Network is hiring an Assistant Director of Clinical Services to work alongside and support the Director of Clinical Services in guiding high-quality care across our restorative care facilities.
This leadership position ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, provides clinical guidance to facility teams, and supports quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional resident care. This position will directly report to the Director of Clinical Services.

QUALIFICATIONS
Current, active RN license in the state of Louisiana (required).
Minimum of 2–4 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (preferred).
Demonstrated understanding of federal and state long-term care regulations.
Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), Point Click Care (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, infection control, and quality initiatives (e.g. five star, QAPI).
Proven track record in clinical turnaround, compliance defense, and team development.
Ability to travel extensively across assigned region (up to 75%).
Excellent verbal and written communications
Able to multi-task, work independently and be extremely organized
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical oversight to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient nursing services.
Monitor and support implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care across assigned facilities.
Collaborate with facility leadership to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
Conduct regular on-site visits to facilities and remain available for overnight stays as needed.
Support facilities during state and federal surveys and lead post-survey plans of correction.
Mentor and support Directors of Nursing (DONs) and clinical teams to drive excellence in resident care.
Analyze clinical metrics and quality indicators to guide performance improvement efforts.
Ensure consistent compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
