Under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Graduate Student Services and Program Operations, the Assistant Director, Graduate Program Operations develops and implements policies and procedures to support student success and budgetary goals and objectives that are consistent with enrollment goals. This position will play a lead role in ensuring student satisfaction and overcoming barriers to success by both direct student support and analyzing processes and procedures in order to develop a standard for delivering the day-to-day operations of the graduate business programs.
Ensure competency of program operations through the development and/or improvement of standard operating procedures, including standards and timelines. Create efficiencies throughout the operational processes to ensure cohesion and effectiveness as well as the flow of information between Admissions, Student Services and Career Development, in addition to the academic departments and other stakeholders throughout the University.
Responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of data on enrolled graduate management students, in support of Carroll School budgeting initiatives. Provides analysis of enrollment projections and reporting to support strategic planning efforts. Prepares regularly scheduled, as well as ad hoc updates, for the Associate Dean, Finance & Administration.
Utilizes databases and other technological tools to standardize reporting processes across all graduate programs functions.
Manage the financial operation by developing and administering program budgets, including posting and tracking of tuition remission and stipends for all graduate management students. Acts as intermediary with Financial Aid Office, collaborating on issues related to federal funding.
Organize Graduate Assistantship assignment process to ensure compliance with all payroll processes, including submission of required payroll forms. Works in conjunction with academic departments to meet GA support needs.
Contributes to frontline student support, identifying and resolving student issues, responding to questions related to University and Carroll School policies and procedures and providing ongoing support to enhance students? academic and student life experiences.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $65, to $81,; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of four years? experience in managing and coordinating academic and administrative operations Experience using data systems for analysis Demonstrated project management experience University or higher education experience, Graduate programs preferred. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to think strategically and work effectively in a team-based environment. Proficiency in working with databases, analyzing and interpreting data in additional to spreadsheet and database management software
