Most relevant fields of study include (but are not limited to) public health, health promotion, higher education leadership, social work, gender and sexuality studies, or related fields required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as skill in presenting effectively to faculty, staff, and students Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Strong ability to collaborate effectively to address programmatic issues and needs, while making independent, professional decisions and considering the input of various stakeholders
Demonstrated skills in a variety of educational methods including presentations, workshops, trainings, and small group discussion/facilitation
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks
Certification in the Green Dot College Strategy. If not Green Dot certified at the time of hire, Green Dot certification is required at the earliest available opportunity. Duties and Responsibilities Health education: Oversee development of educational programming and content with a focus on interpersonal violence and sexual health including workshops, marketing, outreach, and social media
Serve as a health educator to students by delivering workshops, training, and presentations on interpersonal violence and sexual health topics including stalking, relationship violence, sexual violence, and healthy relationships
Assist in the development of training and educational programming on additional wellbeing topics impacting college students
Assessment: Use appropriate assessment and evaluation methods to measure program impact and assess learning outcomes
Coordinate and maintain all data collection activities for violence prevention and sexual health programming
Program & Outreach Coordination: Coordinate an active Green Dot training schedule and campus outreach activities to promote bystander intervention
Develop marketing and outreach strategies to increase engagement in Green Dot training
Coordinate large-scale campus-wide events and activities with a focus on interpersonal violence and sexual health such as lectures, workshops, interactive outreach events, and educational programming.
Oversee the coordination of existing signature events such as Take Back the Night, Relationship Violence Awareness Month, Stalking Awareness Month, and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Identify and collaborate with campus and community partners to enhance outreach and increase student access to health and wellbeing resources.
Department Outreach: Assist with the coordination of departmental signature events, active participant in staff meetings, assist with monthly reports, etc. and other duties as assigned Other Work/Responsibilities Other duties as assigned by the Director and/or the CWP Leadership Team Necessary Licenses or Certifications N/A
