Brandeis University – a distinguished top-tier private research university recognized for its academic excellence and leading-edge research – has an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Assistant Director for Heller Executive Programs . Position Summary: As the Assistant Director you will have a vital role in planning for and delivering the new year-long, non-degree Brandeis Physicians Foundation Leadership Institute executive education program. The program, developed in partnership with the Physicians Foundation, will bring 25 physician participants through a 12-month curriculum, including two in-person, intensive five-day residency sessions and regular synchronous online Zoom classes. The Assistant Director for Heller Executive Programs is a part time ( hours a week), benefited position. This appointment is a term position for a one-year period. Key Responsibilities: As the Asst Director your will work in collaboration with the Director, Sr. Associate Director, and Associate Director to provide management and support of the faculty and the participants of the program including: Manage overall program activities, onboarding, in person residencies, etc.; Manage a slate of faculty/speakers and planning/support for monthly webinars and residencies Manage program participants, Physicians Foundation leadership in attendance and faculty for the duration of the program. This includes management of overall residency, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and troubleshooting high level problems that may occur Provide customized, white glove service to the executive level program participants and the Physicians Foundation. Available for the duration of the program, from planning to execution. Understand the program's mission, structure and operational details in depth in order to provide a high level of service throughout the program. You will manage the program faculty, providing oversight for this group, throughout the program. Manage the program website Engage with the faculty and guest speakers who are part of the curriculum to discuss content and to ensure all is in place to launch/deliver their content in the appropriate format Manage and monitor sessions as they are delivered with participants. Manage and support faculty in creating and updating online course platforms; materials collection/materials website creation/materials distribution and communications Process data on participant/client satisfaction in real time throughout duration of one-year program to support director in continuous improvement efforts. Create and maintain a site repository for course materials. Meet with each faculty member (this program has 12 courses) Reviewing content, coordinating faculty deliverable timelines, asking for revisions if necessary, collecting and posting materials related to the content, site testing, responding to last minute changes to content or materials, etc. Communicate information about the participant population Creating a profile book with bios of all physicians - and about the expectations of the "client" organization. Survey of courses are developed/administered while date is collected and re-organized into client and faculty reports. Assist in logistical planning for the intensive in-person sessions. Triage participant questions as they prepare for, and move through, the program. Manage the ordering of academic and classroom materials and supplies. Support all day webinars in terms of tech needs and support faculty in prep and execution of such webinars. Job Requirements Education: BS/BA Experience: 3-5 years Ideal candidate will have experience in higher education administration and knowledge of the healthcare industry including how organizations are structured, challenges facing industry leadership, and physician specialties.
