General Summary:
This position assists the Director in the overall operation of the childcare center, which includes budgeting, billing, and other administrative work. This position is also responsible for overseeing the preparation and monitoring of all curriculum and lesson planning within the center. Must maintain a proper environment for the safety and well-being of all the children and staff within the center, and will fulfill all responsibilities of the Director in his/her absence.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the supervision and instruction of children of all ages in the childcare center. Maintains a safe and inviting childcare center for both children and parents.
Making sure appropriate work orders are submitted timely manner to ensure the child care center is properly maintained.
Billing/ Accounting
Curriculum development and implementation for all ages within the child care center
Overseeing and monitoring the budget of the childcare center with the director to stay in compliance with university budgeting guidelines.
Staying current with and adhering to all regulatory rules affecting the child care center
Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System, University, and job-specific online training courses.

Necessary Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or related experience
Five (5) years of experience in a licensed early childhood facility.
Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within three weeks of employment.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
One (1) year of early childhood supervisory experience.
CDA Certificate, CPR, First Aid.
Knowledge and experience in curriculum and lesson planning.
Knowledge of rules/regulations set forth by regulating agencies.
