Summary:
The Assistant Director, Campaign Orchestration & Activationis responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies to drive engagement and efficiency. Working closely with the Senior Director, Marketing Orchestration & Activation, this role involves leveraging marketing automation platforms and optimizing campaign execution.
TheAssistant Director, Campaign Automation & Activation collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective message delivery, campaign automation, and technical solutioning. This role will focus on email delivery, with emphasis on evolving to omni-channel and triggered customer journeys.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in translating business goals and objectives into actionable experiences on marketing automation platforms.
Develop omni-channel content distribution automation capabilities using platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and data platforms.
Manage a team of specialists to ensure self-service campaigns and activation of marketing plans.
Align with Product and Engineering on quarterly campaign commitments utilizing marketing capacity and department prioritization.
Accountable for the collaboration with Product, Data and Engineering teams to identify and onboard theadditional tools, such as Customer Data Platform (CDP) and other automation platforms, as needed for campaign orchestration and optimization.
Influence and implement capabilities including targeting, personalization, and dynamic content to deliver the best customer experience while driving efficiency.
Well versed in marketing technology platforms and understand how they run, interact, and sync across the enterprise.
Oversee the setup, configuration, and management of marketing automation platforms.
Collaborate closely with Analytics leads to optimize customer engagement and content effectiveness.
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align strategies and requirements, improve performance, and build effective customer journeys.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Business Preferred)
7+ years of experience in a Marketing role with experience in executing cross-functional projects, with an emphasis on email marketing.
Experience leading projects and programs.
Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of full funnel marketing and how it enables sales. Understanding of consumer marketing and target audience to assess needs, trends, and opportunities.
Prior experience with Salesforce Marketing CloudEmail Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, and Automation Studio.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth category environment.
Communication: Effectively communicates with key stakeholders; comfortable providing feedback and recommendations.
Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships cross-functionally.
Presentation: Can effectively present complex information in a way that is understood by wide audiences.
Executional Excellence: Successfully delivers against timelines and within budget.
Strategic Thinking: Continuously look for ways to optimize and improve processes and programs.
