The Assistant Director, Mentoring supports the mission of the Pine Manor Institute for Student Success at Boston College by providing mentoring, academic coaching, encouragement and support to first-generation and underrepresented students. This position reports to the Director, Mentoring and Academic Achievement and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and functioning of the mentoring initiatives of the Pine Manor Institute for Student Success at Boston College. This position also assists with the management and execution of all summer programs offered by the Pine Manor Institute for Student Success. In addition, the Assistant Director will work as part of a team to support the academic, social, and personal growth of both Messina College and Boston College students. This position is also responsible for designing workshops, seminars, and symposia to support the academic achievement, success, and retention of male undergraduates. The Assistant Director will serve as an academic coach, mentor, and role model for 50 first-year undergraduate students and will manage and administer all aspects of the Graduate Mentor Program.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $65, to $81,; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
