Position Overview: The Assistant Clinical Program Director supports the Clinical Director in overseeing the daily operations and clinical activities within our Castle Rock Teen Residential Treatment facility. This role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure high-quality client care, efficient workflow, and adherence to regulatory standards. The Assistant Clinical Director will also take on a leadership role in fostering professional development, improving clinical processes, and maintaining a positive, client-centered environment.
Success Factors for the Role: Clinical Leadership and Supervision: The ability to lead and supervise clinical staff effectively, ensuring adherence to treatment standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation guidelines.
Program Development and Implementation: Expertise in designing, developing, and implementing treatment programs and curricula that align with evidence-based practices and the specific needs of young adult clients.
Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: A deep understanding of regulatory standards and the ability to ensure that the program complies with all relevant guidelines and requirements.
Communication and Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills to foster a supportive environment, maintain consistent communication with staff, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team of therapists and healthcare professionals.
Recruitment and Staff Development: Competence in recruiting, hiring, and developing clinical staff, ensuring that team members meet professional standards and are continuously supported in their roles for optimal client care.
Training & Experience: Licensed Practitioner in the state of Colorado (or outside state with the ability to transfer) is required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT), Board approved Supervisor would be highly advantageous.
All staff must be CPR Certified prior to beginning employment.
Previous experience with substance abuse treatment is required; preferred experience with a treatment facility in the detox, residential, and/or partial hospitalization (“PHP”) setting.
Minimum of 3+ years of clinical supervisory experience.
Candidates must have an understanding and experience with regulatory agency compliance (such as State regulations and the Joint Commission) as well program development.
