Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in managing daily childcare center operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment • Support curriculum planning that promotes developmental growth and meets regulatory standards • Mentor and guide staff, fostering professional development and a positive team culture • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements, assisting with inspections • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training staff to maintain high-quality standards • Build trusting relationships with families, addressing concerns with empathy and clear communication • Help organize community and family engagement events that enrich the center’s connection to its neighborhood • Support marketing and outreach initiatives to share the center’s mission and programs
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum of three years’ experience in early childhood education or related roles (specifically in private daycares) • Familiarity with Tennessee Department of Human Services Child Care Rules and Regulations or equivalent • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills • Warm, approachable personality with a passion for working with children and families • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay professional in a fast-paced setting • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry best practices
