About the Role

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Area Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations across assigned communities in the Longview/Tyler region.

This leadership position plays a vital role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a culture of compassion across all facilities. The Area Director partners closely with facility Administrators, providing mentorship, strategic direction, and operational support while driving performance in all key areas — from financial and staffing to resident satisfaction.

This is a “road warrior” position – candidates must be available to travel 4–5 days per week throughout the Longview/Tyler area.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field

Current Texas LNFA license (Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator) – required

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience overseeing multiple long-term care facilities

Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing facility regulations

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and build operational success

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Must reside in or near the Longview/Tyler area

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to Administrators and interdisciplinary teams across assigned facilities

Ensure compliance with company standards, state and federal regulations, and resident care expectations

Monitor facility operations, budgets, and financial performance to drive sustained growth

Develop, coach, and evaluate facility leadership to ensure accountability and excellence

Collaborate with Corporate and Regional teams to implement initiatives, support marketing efforts, and build census

Oversee resident and family satisfaction efforts, resolving concerns proactively

Facilitate quality assurance, safety, and staff development programs

Maintain a strong presence within the communities through frequent onsite visits and engagement with staff and residents
