The Director of Product Management is passionate about solving problems and creating a positive work environment. This role involves working closely with the Product Owner and key stakeholders such as Clients, Business Subject Matter Experts, Product Designers, Engineers, and various levels of Product Managers. The director will inspire excitement about our products and serve as the voice of the customer. Principal / Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle. Contribute to the product vision and roadmap, prioritize features that deliver the best end-user value, and maintain backlogs. Lead user research initiatives, critically analyze customer pain points, and address user needs and wants. Identify, prioritize, maintain, and execute against both the backlog and roadmap using a data-driven approach. Stay informed about industry trends and be an expert regarding the competition. Define product or feature requirements and prioritize based on data-driven decisions. Establish clear OKRs for products and use data to monitor, measure, and assess KPIs. Lead the UX workstream by collaborating closely with Scrum leads, UX designers, engineers, QA, and business experts during the design, development, and testing of products or features. Manage performance, set goals, and measure results as a people manager. Mentor other project team members in product management. Contribute to developing and maintaining the product management playbook. Support the growth of product management discipline within the organization. Required Skills A curious mindset to understand and solve problems. Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across all stakeholder levels. Ability to analyze user and market research to support prioritization. Effective communication skills, including presenting to all organizational levels and engaging clients. Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in user research, including interviewing users and translating feedback into business requirements. Ability to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in the technology industry. Proven success in leading or collaborating within cross-functional teams. Experience with B2B2C platforms is preferred. Mobility industry experience is a plus but not required. Our salary bands are transparent both internally and externally, with targets ranging from $160,000 to $210,000 CAD, depending on market and location.
