Twinbrook Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center - Director of Admissions

Twinbrook Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Director of Admissions who completes day to day tasks regarding admission, discharge, and/or transfer of residents in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, as well as established facility policies and procedures.

Director of Admissions Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.

Must have three years experience with demonstrated success in census development and occupancy management in a nursing home, or other related health care facility.

Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Director of Admissions Responsibilities:

Manage the admissions process from inquiry to move-in

Conduct tours of the facility and provide information to potential residents and families

Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure that all admissions meet facility criteria

Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, such as hospitals and physicians

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to admissions
