The Role
As an Account Director II - UCC Specialized Sales you will be responsible for the acquisition and growth of specialized products revenue in an assigned regional geography and sales Business Unit as an overlay services seller to Large Enterprise/complex clients. Desired result is acquiring new monthly recurring revenue at or above assigned growth and incremental revenue targets. Key function is establishing a working relationship with the region’s direct and channel sales account teams, prospecting, qualifying, and closing for Lumen. The Main Responsibilities
Drives account management responsibilities as an overlay sales role including solution creation, solution offering configuration management, order issuance, service delivery, service management and revenue recognition. Demonstrates a balance of strategic and tactical thought leadership. Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas. Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and or existing accounts. Provides input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer's organization and makes recommendations about future courses of action necessary of the company towards improving its position with the customer. Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements. In depth knowledge on a specific product(s) and or services (i.e. UCC, Cisco Webex, Zoom, Call Center solutions, etc.). Interaction and strong relationships with Partners, Key Stakeholders, and Product Management for nonstandard / custom requirements based upon customer needs. What We Look For in a Candidate
10+ yrs Contact Center/Telecom Experience Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape. Strong understanding of Voice networking Experience with Genesys and Cisco Contact Center ACD platforms preferred. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred. Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close. Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction. Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requires at least 25% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office. Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $119,900 - $159,863 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $125,906 - $167,864 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $131,891 - $175,854 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
